Activity Bags for Dorothy Moses
I created a take-home bag for a student who has a learning disability and is an English Learner. She gets to take this bag home with her to practice reading and math skills. In the bag, I included everything that the student would need to do the activity because many families at the school are of low SES.
Mock IEP Meeting
I led a mock IEP meeting in front of a team of peers, where I followed a meeting schedule, discussed all essential elements of an IEP meeting, and practiced my leadership skills through the eyes of a future educator.
